i think the easiest option for music is to stick all your songs onto cd rewriters

you could buy an external hardrive and stick everything on that and then transfer it to you your new computer. you could probably find an external hardrive for $100 for 200GB

i don't think you can do that cause the ipod will change whatever you have on it to what you have on the computer you plug it into. but i could be wrong. i guess it doesn't hurt to try tongue.gif

check the settings on your itunes and ipod. be careful, because if you have it set to "automatically update", if you plug your ipod into your new computer, it will erase everything on there, i think. you can definetely use the ipod to transfer all your files, just make sure you set the preferences and setttings correctly!

the thing is, I don't know what preferences to set it to
cause, I tried it, and about 6 times I accidently erased everything, so then I had to upload everything from my old computer onto it over and over again

It will say that this iPod isn't formatted for this computer, do you want to format it. You can change your settings also in prefrences.

To take stuff off the iPod there is software to do this OR you can make it so your computer can see invisible files (another program) and then find all your files. The names for all the files will be weird though (like AVGD.mp3 or something) but when you open it, it will tell you the name, artist, ect.
