has anyone installed it yet?

i'm not sure what to do... my dad bought it and i'm thinking about puttin it on my laptop too.

i've got XP though.. no idea if it'll work and how i'm actually supposed to install it.
will i need to format my laptop beforehand?

does anybody no anything about this?

I don't get why vista is so bad ...I have had no real problems with it, but I guess that's cuz I don't have a lot of programs or install a lot.

I have no idea about 7 though.

I probably won't get it, not until I really have to or when I get a new computer.

I use Vista on my old pc, never had any problems
I like it, i see NO reason to upgrade it to win7

vista was a lot easier to get used to for me than win7
just look at paint, it is so fucking hard to handle now

You could always get a piece of software to partition off a section of your hard drive to install Windows 7 on, then you can choose to boot 7 and try it out, plus still access all your stuff through My Computer.

I wouldn't think so, as the USB drivers aren't started until everything else is in the boot sequence.

im planning on buying a new comp next month and it looks like almost everything has windows 7 now. so being a primitive pirate how much trouble will i have going from XP to windows 7? i cant navigate this fucking bullshit computer with vista, im completely lost, it took me plenty long to figure out how to delete the cookies on this bitchass ho-bag piece of shit.
