For Tonight Your Only Here to Know means the most to me
because to me its sort of about being defeated or consumed by love or desire, like giving up after fighting it.
the lines:
'just tonight i would, i would lay here for you
just tonight I would, I would sink here for you,
just tonight I would, I would slum here for you,
just tonight I would, I would die.'
especially speak to me because of events in my life. Where you're caught in the moment, and you do things that feel right in the moment, and you feel close to someone in one surreal moment where its like nothing else matters, and words aren't even needed.

(ps. none of this is nearly as sexual as it sounds)

I don't think any Distillers song has a deep meaning to me....
They're just good to listen to.

Oh though one.... wow... it'll have to be L.A. Girl which was the first song I ever heard by them.
And Gypsy Rose Lee just cause it's an amazing song that made me admire and want to be just like Brody Dalle so much. Hard to explain....
And The Hunger just cause it's a beautiful song =]

The Blackest Years, first and foremost. Listened to that track every fucking day when my depression was at its worst.

I'm A Revenant

World Comes Tumblin....especially, "start a riot, slash your wrists red"

Hall of Mirrors

The Hunger

yayyyyyyyyyyy

There's a few. One of the reasons I love the Distillers so much is because of the lyrics and the meaningfulness [for lack of a better term] that they have to me.

I've narrowed it down to just two:
The Blackest Years
Sick of it All

the songs that mean to most to me are:

Drain the Blood because "all my friends are murder" too
The Young Crazed Peeling because it reminds me of my friend
"the way you feel is ok, it's never gonna change anyway!"
Beat Your Heart out because of Cody
and The Hunger because "i never knew i'd beg down at your feet"
City of Angels because it's kick ass!!! and the first song that sucked me into the dark world of the Distillers!

the other songs are meaningful but these ones stuck with me...

I'm a new The Distillers/Brody Dalle fan, like really new, just last month I started listening to their stuff even though I've know about them for about 2 years.
The first time I heard "I am a Revenant", I just thought it was a really good meaningful song.
I really like the lyrics to it, and I've been wanting to cover it for months now.
And I also just heard "The Gallow is God". BAd ass fucking song.
I love it.
