a conjuction, as i'm sure you are aware, serves to join parts of a sentence. by beginning a second sentence with a conjuction, a writer establishes a relationship with the previous sentence, but makes a separate point. given your aversion to semicolons, i'm surprised you don't condone this practice.

You can begin a sentence in CONVENTIONAL english with a conjunction as long as you use a coordinating conjunction to emphasise both points equally. Something I have not had to do yet because I always follow my main clause with a subordinate clause. By hotlinking you are increasing their bandwidth usage and thus costing them more money. As you can imagine, people get bitter when they pay extra without getting the extra traffic. Sites like ImageShack and PhotoBucket exist for a reason, you leach. That gif is located in the 'images' sub directory of that site. Go ahead, go visit the site and see if you can find an images section openly displayed and accessible. What? you can't? Yeah, they want you pilfering their images all right. Even if they disable hotlinking, the image you put will be replaced a pre made image HOSTED on their site, so it's still using their bandwidth, you just don't get to enjoy the image.
