Well, all the fuss is about the fact that Black Sabbath basically fathered metal. Even though they are one of my favirote bands I'm not bothered by the fact that there are people who hate them. Thats fine with me. Black Sabbath was the first to come out with that hard, dark, ominous sound. The lyrics also reflected that. Ozzy did not write them. They were written by Terence "Geezer" Butler who was the bassist. His lyrics were amazing because they were inspired by the occult, HP Lovecraft, Stephen King and the like. They ventured deep into the forbidden side of the mind and the world. Its like a voice for the tortured soul! Who better to bring this to life than ozzy. He felt that pain in his life and continued to go through it with the band and after he left. Some of his solo stuff rocks but I'm not really a huge fan.

Oh, man, i admire her to death. Nothing average ever comes out of that woman. She's the master of it all! And she seems like such a genuinely nice person too.

I also enjoy her older work the most, especially To Bring You My Love and Rid Of Me. But I think that even though her newest album is completely different from those two, it is absolutely fantastic. It's grown on me immensely over the months.

I'm in love with Post-Rock and Neo Classical. Yeh, they're from Canterbury. A similar artist, The Pirate Ship Quintet (who I'm also in love with), is from London.

Its a good EP and Beaver has some good tunes. Goodluck getting ahold of one...they are rare. Most on ebay are fakes.

Check their online store...within a few months Josh is supposedly getting ready to release their first album for the 10 year anniversary and he might reproduce that EP.
