I don't think she's said anything officially, but it's been so long that a lot of her fans started to think that she wasn't able to find a label to release her album. I think I read somewhere that she was doing it digitally on her site early next year.

Courtney Love's new album has received $30 million in sponsorship from a range of businesses, the "head administrator" of the singer's MySpace page has claimed.

Among the companies involved in the long-awaited album, called 'Nobody's Daughter', are a "well-known tequila brand" and a "prominent hygiene and menstrual company", according to the former Hole frontwoman's blog.

The unnamed administrator wrote a lengthy post on Love's MySpace page on January 2, explaining why the album had not been released online the day before.

Love had previously told Elle magazine that she would release 'Nobody's Daughter' online on January 1.

After apologising to fans for the album's delay, the administrator said that work on the project was now nearing completion.

"The artwork is pretty much done," the administrator wrote. "Courtney has $30 million in sponsorships, from a prominent feminine hygiene/menstrual company and a prominent tequila company. And Courtney doesn't even understand that part!"

Love has been working on the album with former Larrikin Love guitarist Micko Larkin.

Referring to Love's mental state, the administrator wrote: "Courtney is sober, clean, classy and very elegant and sophisticated and super intelligent."

'Nobody's Daughter' is now apparently due to be released physically on February 9. It's the follow-up to 2004's 'America's Sweetheart'.
