What About Green Day ?

I kind of miss the old Green Day. :unsure:

I've loved everything Green Day has put out, this new album took me awhile to get used to but I do love it.
I don't care if people get on me about loooving green day :wub:

I haven't heard their new album and I probably won't. I've heard two songs and I didn't really like them. I haven't been able to listen to Green Day in quite a while; even their older stuff that I used to like just doesn't really do it for me anymore.

The new album is my least favorite.
But, I saw them at the Scotiabank Place in Ottawa on Friday, and it made me remember why I liked them in the first place. They played a lot of old stuff too (even some Kerplunk old).

I love Green Day. I just haven't bothered with the new album. I don't think I'll like it so I'm not going to go out and get it. I'm taking one of my friend's to see them in December because she's never been to a concert, might check it out before then.

I think that's why American Idiot pissed me off, it got way too much air time. It was everywhere, no need to ram it down our f'ing throats. I don't listen to the radio or watch the music channels most of the time so it hasn't bothered me yet for this album.

I liked the stuff that was on that greatest hits album, i.e. When I Come Around, Welcome to Paradise etc... but I haven't listened to them since I was about 15, to me they're a teenager kind of band?

I saw them at the huge gigs in Milton Keynes, in the American Idiot period (2005?), and they were OK, not spectacular.

They toured here twice for American Idiot. First time I saw them Simple Plan supported them. Second time it was MCR and JEW.
