My nephew is 15, and just the other day it hit me that he's at that age where I'm sure sex comes up (and believe me my world came tumbling down lol), and I've heard that he is "seeing girls" whatever that means...

Anywho, my brother (his dad) isn't the most responsible parent, I think he's somewhat sexist and I'm sure he'd tell him stupid shit about women and sex, I told my mom someone needs to talk to him and she said she will, she said "I'll sit him down and say 'WHAT'S GOING ON!!!? WHO ARE YOU SEEING??!' " ..(my mom never gave me the talk so who knows how that would go down)

I'm starting to think I should talk to him about it, but ugh...it seems so awkward and I dunno if i can give the best advice. It would be nice if he didn't do it yet (lol) but i figure if he's gonna do it, he's gonna do it, I just don't want him to be stupid about it.

Any advice?

I never had chance to talk about sex with my mom because I came out as lesbian at pretty early age.She only told me she knows nothing about lesbian sex and that I should ask some older lesbian and talk with her about protection and sex advices.She only told me "If you ever get into boys and want to have sex with them, make sure you're protected".

i think kids these days (WOAH, suddenly i feel OLD!! i'm 21, not 121!) are betterinformed than we would like to think... i think the feelings and emotions part is where someone needs to step in and be like "hey, protect yourself and don't smack her head when she blows you..." but since porn is so frickin widespread (is that even a word? i'm totally foreign...) i think we could just assume that people know how to please each other... the lack of emotion in it though, scares the heck outta me.

Well I guess to update, He's 16 now.
He is conceited, checks himself out in the mirror a lot, and thinks he's 'god's gift' so I hear.
He's 'seeing' like 3 different girls & that's all he talks about, 'this girls is hot' 'this girl i'm seeing...' he's telling everyone & I find this weird, I didn't think boys told their families, especially their grandmother about all sorts of girls...?

It's very annoying, he can't talk about anything else it seems!!

and he is dressing like a dumbass.
