She said it was one of the best gigs she'd ever been to.

"this was Brody doing what Brody does best"
"It was everything I expected and more"
"There are some killer tracks, and Brody didn't let us down on stage"

She was just being a self righteous arse about other people who were there.

Yeah it seems as though the "teens" have grown up now from the Distillers days, and some are just too good...

but does anyone notice how most of the people complaining about the push and shove in the crowd are people who seem like newer fans? interesting.

Yeah maybe. I just don't get people who don't go to a concert expecting to have a lot of personal space, you get shoved, it's normal. Degree of shoving just changes depending on where you're standing and what band it is.

i agree!
if you want your personal space just go further back from the front
i never ever go to the front at gigs, too sweaty, warm and rough

I don't either. Except if it's a band which are a big deal for me.

Its the waiting for the band to come on which is the problem for me at the front. Its just a load of standing around, you don't want to get a drink in case you can't get back where you were, and it's really boring and reeeeally hot. Its not so bad when the band actually start.
