i hate going cause it's the "cool" hang out place..seriously..ALL the kids from my middle school hang around there. and i don't like going with my friends, only my parents..cause my friends have HORRIBLE taste in movies.

but other than those things..i love it

I quite like it, nothing like a gigantic screen to watch a good film on. It sometimes makes films seem all that much better than if you were watching on tv at home.

A tad expensive, but it's nice. It kinda annoys me that my friends go there all the time though, you don't even talk at the cinema. You sit there and watch a movie (or make out tongue.gif) , that's hardly socialising...

I love the cinema, sometimes. Most of the time... unless the film is really boring (we're talking King Kong boring)

Coming from a small town and only having to go thirty miles to find a crappy two screen cinema (which I love anyway, and they all know me there, yay) when I get into the city (Aberdeen or Glasgow) I get very excited by the big cinemas - I know it's sad, but they're just fun...

The one cinema I've been to in America was like heaven...

But yeah I love the cinema, sitting there with a comically huge drink, a bucket of popcorn you'll never finish and normally, a mate beside you who you can fight with through the whole thing...

Sigh, I love it.

one of the best feelings in the world is getting outside after being in the cinema for hours.

yeah it is a bit pricey, I think its about Ј6 something here for me now (Ј7 at the other cinema and it has amazingly comfy seats), but I can usually blag student prices so it's not as bad... I mean it's ok for one film, but when you're going often then it all adds up doesn't it.

...and hell no i never buy food or drink there. THAT is overpriced

Ah Cinema food, tis the ultimate in rip offs. I had a crap load of money, like, birthday money plus student money, three of us were going to see the film, I payed for my own ticket and the girl who came, cause she never has money...then bought juice...

To paraphrase Mr. B Black..

"Urm, excuse me... I bought two tickets and a drink and now I have no money left?"

I mean twenty quid for two tickets and a drink... pish.

it depends who I'm with, and the movie
its a little expensive, and it sucks when the movie sucked and you actually paid like 30 bucks to see it

i don't mind the cinema, it can be a nice day/night out. but i don't go much, cause i have no money, but i went once to watch oceans 12 and we sat near the front and it was one of those films that goes from one scene to another all the time, i got really dizzy and left at the end with a killer headache. sucked.

i like going to the cinema when no ones there. i went once on a wednesday to watch finding nemo and we were the only ones there, was great was like a private screening.

but i prefer to just watch movies at home, cause i can pause when i need the loo, or i want some food or a drink, and and its cheaper.

but all in all i give the cinema a thumbs up.
