do you tell them? Its only when we're at work cos he doesn't have time to shower in the morning but he can still spray himself with deoderant, wot do u reckon?

I have a friend who always sits with me on the bus, some days her scent is overwelming. It's a old-timey powdery type smell. Not all the time, mind you. She's a very [i:8nuq8q2f]sensitive[/i:8nuq8q2f] girl and her family is uber poor. I don't have the heart to tell her. And I'm normally a blunt asshole.

suggestions?

maybe I could buy her perfume for her birthday? lol

Well in any case I'd say don't tell them they've [i:5kjvo2v4]always[/i:5kjvo2v4] smelled bad, just say something like you've noticed it the past week or whatever. If you tell them they've stunk as long as you've known them they'll feel worse and wonder why you didn't say sooner and stuff.

he said today that he has a shower as soon as he gets home from work, but he should still use deoderant, i cant imagine his reaction to me bringing it up i can imagine him being like "yeah? so?" meh wotever its not too bad

I would want to know.

I'm sure at first his ego will be bruised and his feelings hurt but in the end he may be thankful for your honesty and see you as just being a good friend.

No not really I shower every but sometimes I'll wake up after drinking and I'll be hot and sweaty and I'll go to see him at work and he'll let me know "dude you stink dude" or sometimes I'll have to tell him.
