it was really good. not crowded at all. linda started the set with a few songs, then she introduced the "new artist" she had discovered, which was courtney. they played nobodys daughter, sunset marquis, pacific coast highway, and letter to god. she seemed really happy, excited, and humble. she was making fun of herself in between songs. she didnt play guitar, just sang. ive seen her twice before, but this was definetely the best show ive seen. she finally seems to have her shit together.

I am so glad to hear that. I had a feeling when I met her that she seemed better now, happier and healthier, but it's nice to hear she's doing good musically as well.

So I've only heard rough versions of the songs...are they any good? And did she say anything about when the CD might be coming out? I can't wait.

the songs pretty good to me, if the rest of the albums anything like this then i'll go out and buy it, i'm liking the mix of acoustic and electric guitars, and shes kept the edge in her voice...or maybe its the cigarettes

I really likes the way the guitar sounded too. It took me a while to notice the absent drums, but I think it's because of all the breathing she's doing, at times it was almost like a beat.

And I'm pretty sure it's the cigarettes. You can tell when she ever talks, she needs to quit. I can't imagine how painful screaming and singing must be for her.

I'm really excited for the album though. Everything I've heard so far is really, really amazing.

I went and saw her in Seattle when she was doing her booksigning, but she wouldn't let anyone take any pictures at all.
Someone did take a few pictures though, and I had them on my photobucket, but I just went through the only album it would be in, and it wasn't there. She looked beautiful though.

yeah its funny how they post "no photos" all over all the announcements and info about the book signing and NO ONE has one in sight during the signing in the bookstore but as soon as she walkes outside to her car EVERYONE pulls out there camera. hahahaa including me. i dont mind sharing my pics but i havent seen any pics anyone else took and as you can see alot of them took pics. =[
