Yeah, there's bound to be at least one.

For me..I always skip DeathSex, The Hunger, City Of Angels, The Gallow Is God, Girlfixer, L.A Girl, and and and..the young crazed peeling.

You're crazy!! Especially City of Angels. There's so much genius in that song that most people don't get.

The only song I ever skip is Beat Your Heart Out.

And I'm still waiting on that Agent Orange cover!! Someone HAS to have it...

It depends which of the 3 cd's I am listening to. I tend to skip L.A girl from the self titled. I tend to skip Lordy Lordy on SSDH, but I never skip a song from Coral Fang.

i agree with you a 100% on the genius of that song. the actual music, lyrics and layering of the backing vocals with the music is incredible. i still play that song today and hear new sounds.

Almost throughout the whole song it is Rose who sings the chorus low and Brody who sings it higher (or screams, rather), but at one point they do it the other way around. I don't know why I'm writing this, it's completely irrelevant, but I just like concentrating on [i:y0zuu1j4]backing[/i:y0zuu1j4] vocals every once in a while. Once I listened to one song (I confess, it was My Happy Ending) repeatedly and every time concentrated on something else, backing vocals, drums, piano, guitar etc., it was interesting.

But to get back on topic, I skip most of the first album, The Hunger, Beat Your Heart Out, Desperate, I Understand and the last 7 minutes of Death Sex.

It's hard to hear with all the other voices, but I can hear Rose singing higher. Not that it matters a great deal... What matters is that the harmonies are rather amazing.

Wow, "Bullet & the Bullseye," "Hate Me," and "Girlfixer" are deffo in my top 10 list of Distillers classics, but they seem to be the most skipped! Sometimes I skip "Ask the Angels" on the first album to get straight to the one-two punch of "Oldscratch" and "Girlfixer."

the whole of ssdh gets played, i usually skip gypsy rose lee coz i'm not too keen on that song,

and the hunger and the gallow is god get skipped coz they're too slow for me oh and sometimes beat your heart out does too.

I think different voices are a nice switch-up in a band. But, you are right, I don't listen to those songs for the singing. They're good for adrenaline, though.

I get it, death sex is way too long and pointless to listen to all the way ,but the first two minutes are pure SEX, especially at 1:00 when tony does that cool sound with the guitar.

I always skip idolless alot because I want to get to World Comes Tumblin' faster.
I skip gallows cause it drags on way too much, it doesn't get good for me until the bridge. and I want to get to Coral Fang which has the coolest echoing chorus ever
